Engine Work

We do it all: rebuilds, timing kits and timing chain services, valve cover and head gaskets, and complete engine replacements. We're also experienced with Subaru head gasket and timing work — call for a quote.

Major work is priced by book time at $110/hour, quoted up front. Turnaround is vehicle-specific for big jobs — we'll give you an honest timeline before you commit, and we always get your approval before any work begins.

Replacement Engines & Transmissions

When replacement makes more sense than repair, we source primarily remanufactured and new units — and every engine and transmission we install is backed by a minimum 3-year/36,000-mile parts and labor warranty through the unit's manufacturer — the same style of coverage as our Certified Auto Repair warranty — with longer coverage available on many units. We work with a variety of trusted engine and transmission builders, and we'll walk you through the options and warranty terms for your specific vehicle.

We can occasionally source quality used components case by case when the budget calls for it — ask your service writer.

Transmission & Differential Service

We service transmissions and differentials — fluid and filter changes — and offer full replacements. We don't currently rebuild transmissions or differentials in-house, and we'll tell you straight when a rebuild specialist is your better option.
